Allison Pregler Bio
Allison Pregler is an avid film critic who reviews Z-graded films, mostly in the horror or martial arts genres. Her style and method is similar to The Cinema Snob. However she prefers to review crappy action flicks and has a fascination with the morbid. She started reviewing late in 2009, and gained some respect on their forums, under her previous username Obscurus lupa. In the year 2010, she joined Channel Awesome. Channel Awesome Family. Her site remained up until the early days of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents retooled to Movie Nights. There are two podcasts she hosts on the channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. After reviewing films in 2009, she gained fame on Channel Awesome's forums. Before becoming part of the official group of Channel Awesome reviewers, she gained a lot of attention. She has appeared on countless Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. The actress was member in Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome Family alongside Doug Walker as well as appear often on episodes of the Nostalgia Critic.
